Combining ancestral practices with daily meditation and special guided exercises, this retreat is a unique opportunity to experience Bëtsknatë in an intimate, held setting. Guided by local authorities, elders, and experienced facilitators, you will visit sacred sites such as El Salado and the Patoyaco Reserve, engage in community work with artisans and elders, join word circles and traditional practices, and walk ancestral paths in spiritual and ecological encounters. In the days leading up to Bëtsknatë, you will prepare through clothing, music, and movement workshops, and then participate in Bëtsknatë and Atumpunche, the harvest festival shared by Inga and Kamëntsá communities. Daily life is shared in community including meals, stories, work, and celebration while staying at Casona Mujay “Espíritu Vivo,” a living cultural space and experiential museum where knowledge is transmitted through oral tradition, practice, and direct connection with the territory. Optional individual healing sessions and traditional medicine ceremonies (Yagé, Kambó, and others) are available on site, always voluntary and guided by local protocols.
